Our story

Del Mare begins in the second half of the nineteenth century in Livorno, a working port with a quiet, lasting character.
The brand takes its official name in 1911 in Turin, with the opening of the first high-end menswear workshop.
That step joined family tailoring with the cloths of Piedmont and Biella.

In 1968 Del Mare 1911 moved its workshops to Milan. Retail and the first boutiques made the house a reference for formal menswear.

For more than a century the brand has stood for Made in Italy: uncompromising quality and a contemporary, fresh tailoring tradition.
That reliability also made Del Mare 1911 a partner for professional uniforms — San Raffaele Hospital, Chiomenti, Luxottica, Banco BPM and Allianz among them.
